Breakfast was good, standard hotel fare. Although the Friday morning attendant scowled at everyone, arms crossed, which made it as little uncomfortable. We were happy to have a fireplace, especially since a window had been left open in our room. It was raining when we arrived

We liked the location. It was pretty to be not too far from the beach. Hearst castle wasn't far either, so that was nice.
